ANIMATION
In 2025 I graduated a BA in animaton. Together with my best friend, Yara ter Veer, we directed and produced a queer short film. We had a wonderful team of artists that brought our vision to life!
The story follows Tulip, a young aroace woman, that feels the pressure from her family to follow the path of love and marriage. Whenever she is stressed, she uses her scrapbook as her safe space. During a family wedding, when the pressure is at its highest, she coincidentally meets Winter, a young genderqueer waiter, that feels a similar pressure to comform. They bound over their shared struggles to fit in society’s norms.
SNIPPETS is a story of self-acceptance and found family, through the lense of a scrapbook.
This is my showreel - un-updated since 2023. Around this time I decided I like the design and story aspect more, rather than the animation part of animation. Since then I focused on visual design and storyboarding.
